ENVIRONMENT WEEK

Nurture refers to the act of caring and raising the children while they are growing and developing. We at Ryan's inculcate the values and sensitize towards nature and to save and protect it.We start giving this education right from the beginning in kindergarten. Importance of nature is taught through the following ways-

  • Nature Walk : The children are taken to the nearby park for a nature walk to expose the outside world and are taught about different colours of flowers and plants and how they add beauty to nature.
  • Plantation Drive: Children were encouraged to do plantation in the school premises and they were taught how to take care of the planted saplings by watering them regularly.
  • Save Trees Save Nature: Importance of trees and their usefulness was explained to the students through story depiction.
  • Special Day/ Week Celebration:Environment week along with other special days related to the environment were celebrated by the students with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students took part in plethora of activities and competitions organized, such as- Earth Day , Coconut Day, Environment Week , Tiger Day , World Animal Day , Water Week , Green Day, Salad Decoration, Fruit Chaat Party, Say a slogan , Elocution Competition , Rhyme Recitation and many more.
  • Competitions and Activities : In kindergarten we had organized different activities like Green day, Healthy food , Salad decoration, Fruit chaat party etc and conducted many competitions like Say a slogan , Elocution competition , Rhyme Recitation, Fancy Dress Competition.
